Is the iPad Pro Worth it?

Much of the usability portion of this review applies to the 2018’s redesigned iPad Pro. For more, please jump to the last section of this post titled ‘The new 2018 iPad Pro – is it worth it?’

The professor in the class was talking about how the film industry came out to be. We were watching some of the first films that were commercially released by Lumiere Brothers.

At one point, he said that people were blown away by watching motion pictures on the screen. Some even left the theater in fear when an oncoming train was shown on the display. It was so magical that the actual magicians’ business began to take a nosedive.

The keyword here is ‘magical.’

That led me to think, what ‘magical’ invention have I seen in my lifetime? And will there be any more?

I can’t answer the second question, but I think I know the answer to the first one.

Apple AirPods Review – Costly Convenience

There’s one thing common in all the Apple products — they’re all expensive. It holds true for pretty much everything Apple has ever released. Whether the extra money you pay is worth it, however, is a different question.

There’s a reason I started the post with this point. Today’s topic of the post is Apple AirPods — the first-ever wireless earbuds that the Cupertino giant has released. As soon as it was announced, people flocked to the comment section of YouTube and news sites to express how crazy expensive it was. I didn’t join them, but in secret, I had agreed with them.

Technically, it’s a smartphone, yes, but once you use the camera of the new OnePlus 5, you will understand why “snap-happy” is just the perfect term to describe its camera.

Let’s take a step back.

I always keep a secondary phone with me ever since I got an iPhone. The reasons are simple. I want to keep a smartphone handy that has enough battery power in case my primary phone runs out of juice, and I also use the secondary phone as a WiFi Hotspot when I’m on the go to prevent iPhone’s battery draining to zero.

As a bonus, I get to keep experience both Android and iOS.

Saying Goodbye to 2015 MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro has been a dream machine for me a for a very long time. In early days of my computing life, I did not have a computer at home. I used to go to what is called cyber cafe and pay hourly for using a computer with internet access. Eventually, I got my own desktop computer followed by a laptop, but I never could own a MacBook. I would routinely look at apple.com and see the glorious pictures of MacBook Pros and sigh silently. Read more
